The new BME Smart MMU control panel has been designed and developed with the focus to optimise the drill and blast charging process.
This technology replaces the manual process with an automated solution to increase operational efficiency and provide accurate charge data as per the blast plan and drilling data captured.

Guidelines for Use
System Usage
The auto-transfer of charge mass solution integrates seamlessly with BME’s Xplolog system. Blast plans that have been designed in BME’s Blastmap application or any other 3rd party blast design application can be uploaded to Xplolog cloud solution for syncing with the Xplolog mobile device, that is being used by the Field Technician to capture hole and deck information on the block.
The Xplolog mobile device connects to the BME MMU through WiFi or Bluetooth to transfer the planned and calculated hole and deck information to the MMU for accurate charging.
Safe Use
- Never fight explosive fires.
- Refer to Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for first aid information.
- All explosives must be transported and stored in accordance to relevant regulations.
- All explosives are classified as dangerous goods and may cause damage to property, personal harm, or death, if not used correctly.
- Always keep products away from sources of heat, sparks, flame or hot surfaces and avoid mixing with combustibles or incompatible materials.
